Man of the Match - Martin DevlinThe annual fans v players match took place on Monday night at Victoria Park in front of a healthy crowd of over 100.Those who attended were treated to another fun filled evening with goals galore.

The fans paid £40 each to take on their heroes and they put up a spirited display until the legs got tired and the players’ fitness finally paid off. At the end of the first 30 minutes the fans were only 2-0 down and hopes were high for a close encounter, but as the game wore on the tired legs showed as the score-line finally ended up 9-0,however an improvement on the 12-3 score-line of last year! The fans team did however get the chance to score as referee for the night Craig 'Taffy' McLean awarded a penalty to the fans team but sadly it was 'ballooned' over the bar! The penalty taker shall remain anonymous!
